Excuse the abbreviated curse word but I have had enough with our Kia Sedona. It is my own fault for buying the stupid thing but it is still crazy. My brother loves Honda cars and he told me to purchase the Honda minivan. I decided to save around $4,000 on the price and it has caused me heartburn ever since.
O' my Kia how do I hate thee, let me count the ways....
1) The paint on the rear windshield wiper began to peel after 1 year. No covered under warranty.
2) Leak in radiator lines, 3 trips to get it repaired. Each time I had to take a day off from work.
3) A/C - Heater relay goes bad. 2 trips to get repaired.
4) Gas pedal sticking, recall issued by Kia. 1 trip to get repaired but the gas pedal still sticks sometimes.
5) Handles on middle seats do not stay locked. We have them fix them every trip for the other items but they continue to break.
6) Rear A/C lines rupture. Not under warranty. Repair cost $525.
7) Alternator goes bad. 3 days to repair and 2 trips to dealership. We were left sitting on the side of the road with a load of groceries. My father in law had to come and get us.
8) The passenger sliding door has never worked properly. It is very hard to open. The dealership "said" they fixed it twice but it never works right.
Just a few things that make me love my Korean auto so much!
Kia actually thinks that $1,000 cash back loyalty program will change my mind. http://www.kia.com/incentives/owners_central.php
